Awful ending to a great tournament

Congrats to UConn for being slightly less horrendous than your opponent.

And for the love of God, stop the dog jokes.  "Butler gets muzzled."  "UConn is the top dog."  "Huskies are the best in show."  Not funny.  Especially after the miserable performance we witnessed last night.  The Bulldogs played like puppies.

Up until last night, the 2011 NCAA Tournament was phenomenal.  We had dramatic upsets, acrobatic game-winning shots, and some close, fast-paced action.

But last night was different.  To be fair, neither team played well.  UConn shot 35% and made 1 of 11 three-pointers.  Butler shot 18.8% and made 9-33 threes.  Even worse, Butler didn't make a single shot in the paint until 6 minutes left in the second half!  I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard when watching a team shoot brick after brick.

Let's see if the women's game tonight is any better.  That is, if anyone watches it.  Who's playing again?
